Stillness
This morning I was guided to a deeper silence than some mornings. There are so many projects, so much to do and decide with our recording and giving it the space and time it needs to fully become. I can get easily overwhelmed. I was reading one of my daily prayer books and its theme was a familiar one: Be still and know that I am God - Psalm 46:10. Today, I was able to receive the peace that Jesus is always offering and I was able to rest in God's love. Some days, I am able to receive this gift of peace, some days it eludes me. Today, I felt strongly that rest was profound worship. In these days of early fall, when many things need doing and the beauty of God's creation is sparkling everywhere, I hope to continue letting myself rest and receive peace. I pray that for you as well!
I would like to ask for your prayers for us as we mix this album. After ten years of hoping to record these special songs, it is so fulfilling to be right where we are: trusting ourselves, not getting lost in the myriad of choices, but turning this over to God again and again. My hope is to Glorify God with this music - and that these songs might be of use to others in our lifelong journey of embracing of God's love one day, one moment at a time. Thy Will Be Done.

As the choices are many and we may need more breathing room for all the decisions, I am letting go of the hope to have this done by early December. It seems that a release in early Spring would be best. I will send advance tracks to all who have pre-ordered during December and the complete mastered project as soon as it is available. God knows - it may still be mastered and pressed and ready for our supporters before the end of 2026. Either way, we are now planning to release this project officially in early 2027. We SO appreciate all the support we have already received and would cherish your prayers as we continue this work of the heart.
