Hello and welcome to my little haven here…
AUGUST 2026 - CONCERT ON THE 23rd + GOSPEL ALBUM PROGRESS
I was just practicing “You Love Humanity” - one of the songs on our new album and one line keeps going through my head: “I am so humbled by your waves of gentleness - how can an ocean fit inside the beating of my breast?”
This album is about God's love and provision - about Jesus walking with us - suffering with us in this human experience. And providing peace, wholeness and the capacity to reach out to receive help.
Many of you are that help for me right now as I work with my husband, Mike, to bring this album into the world. It's a decade long project, and the fulfillment of hearing each song come into being is overwhelming! Every pre-order and donation lifts my heart in ways I barely understand. Though it has been a long road, it is happening and I owe every bit of it to God's gentle ocean of love that lives within each of us. I pray that this album glorifies God and is an invitation for all who hear it to go deeper into the great mystery of God's love.
This Sunday, we are blessed to perform in the sanctuary at my church, St. James Episcopal. Our hope is that this will be a time of devotion for everyone present and a time to continue to reach out and ask for help in supporting this gospel album. Sunday, August 23rd 5:00pm – Fundraising Concert for our Gospel Album at St. James Episcopal Church, 301 Piney Mountain Road, Greenville, SC
After our concert, we have another week of tracking - recording drums on Wednesday and harmony vocals on Thursday and other fun things on Saturday. We have over $2,000 still to raise to be able to finish this album and have it in your hands. Each pre-order, each donation helps so much!
